Laptop in the bath!

Other people’s baths are fair game for this blog! I’ve computed from the tub before, but always leaning over with my little MacBook on a towel on a stepstool. (Hell yeah, I blog from the bathtub.)

Paul Irish is much, much braver than that:

He kept it simple with a couple of thin wooden boards.

Now if I were to make a serious bathtub laptop holder, it would be made of clear plastic, with some sticky rough-textured stuff, like stair treads, to make sure the laptop didn’t slip off. That would be super stylish.

I would also use this silicone keyboard protector, only 15 bucks to save my MacBook from drippy fingers:

Somebody seriously needs to make better waterproof laptop accessories. Maybe the plastic shells that go around your computer would help. Or if we want to go all science fictiony and ridiculous, what about a laptop-enclosing clear plastic box, with rubber glove “waldos” to put your hands into ?
