Make your own bath salts

December 19th, 2006 by Laurakeet

There are some basic bathing essentials that you should always have on hand lest you be caught with nothing but hot water. I am about to share with you the very basics that can be done pretty cheaply and easily.

Here is the recipe and you can find these ingredients at any hippy natural grocery store. Buy them in bulk.

1 part baking soda
1 part mineral salt
2 parts sea salt

Check out how simple that is! It detoxifies! Purifies! Makes you orgasmic and kills your enemies!

You, of course, can add essential oils or whatever you want. When I am poor I like to use tea bags, things like Tension Tamer or Good Earth, even. You can also cut thin slices of orange rind in little curly cues, dim the lights and put on some soothing music for a nice cheap and relaxing experience.

I actually use the salt mixture as my base bath no matter what else I put in it.
